Noise assessments serve as a basis for all phases of project documentation. The analysis of the area from the point of view of acoustics should be carried out during the design of the architectural study.
EIA – ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
DUR – DOCUMENTATION FOR THE ZONING DECISION
- Noise assessment forms part of the project documentation for EIA and DUR
- In the DUR phase the Regional office of Public Health (RÚVZ) requests a noise assessment as a basis for assessing human protection against the influence of noise from the external environment
- As a basis for the sound analysis of the area, we carry out noise measurements from traffic, various operations, and technological mechanisms
- With simulations in acoustic software, we predict the noise situation after project is finished and design sound insulation of the building facade
- It also includes the design of noise-proofing solutions (noise-proofing barriers, reduction of equipment power, limitation of operating time…)
“Let us deal with government regulation, decrees and standards assessing noise.”
PSP – DOCUMENTATION FOR BUILDING APPROVAL
- Based on noise assessment and measurements undertaken during the DUR phase
- Precise definition of noise sources produced by the operation of the building
- Assessment of the sound insulation design of internal dividing structures, windows, doors and also the building facade
- Optimization of building construction materials to meet the requirements of the technical standards
- Specific design of noise-proofing solutions (noise-proofing barriers, reduction of equipment power, limitation of operating time…)
“Suitable design of noise-proofing solutions protects both the internal and external environment.”
RP – REALIZATION PROJECT
- Based on project documentation and noise assessment from the PSP phase
- Additional consultations with the project designer and final noise assessment from the point of view of acoustics
- Presence on the construction site if necessary – construction supervision and presence on inspection days
- Solving technical details and construction connections
- During the building final approval, acoustic measurements are carried out to verify the correctness of the drafted solutions
“Regular consultations with the client during projection of noise-proofing solutions, lead to finding mutually suitable resolutions.”
